Dolven--Navigating   The  Labyrinth  cd/digital    {Goatprayer  Rec.}

This  is  Dolven's  debut  release  featuring  seven  songs   of  folk  and  doom  mix  that you  don't  hear  everyday {atleast  I  don't}  this  is  a  really  good  mix  of  genre's  and styles.The  guitars  are  played  with  a lot  of  emotion  and  talent  that  mixes  in  acoustic  guitars  with  some electric  guitar  riffs and  patterns.The drums  are done  with  a lot  of   great  drum  patterns   that  range from  extremely  slow  drums to  a  more  mid  paced  range.The  vocalist  does  a great  job  of  clean singing  vocal  patterns  and  some  black metal  whispering  vocal  patterns  mixed  in  a few  of the  tracks.If you  are  a fan  of  acoustic  folkish  doom then  you  should  defintly  give  this  band's  debut  a    listen  today.
